    Walk 91

The concept of Walk 91 was an idea that came to life in the early 2000s. When the walk first opened to the public in 2005 it was 91 kilometers long, instead of the 104 kilometers, it is now. We didn’t realize that the walk’s length would change after its opening or we would have chosen a different name! It has been wonderful to see the walk extended to end at the iconic 12 Apostles, rather than at the previous finishing point of Glenample. The Great Ocean Walk has now become an iconic must-do trip for walkers and tourists from all over the world.

    • Aire River to Twelve Apostles

The 12 Apostles Walk is a 3-day tour of the Great Ocean Walk, spanning a little over half of the entire trek. While our 3-day Hike the Cape Tour is on the milder side of the walk, this 12 Apostles stretch is the more isolated, more rugged final three days of the Great Ocean Walk. This remote 58km section of track is known as the ‘Wild Side’ and is perfect for the adventurer short on time looking for a concise 3-day Great Ocean Walk itinerary. Walking pack free, you’ll end your trip at the iconic Twelve Apostles. If you have a little more time and would like a similar but slightly longer journey spread over 4 days, check out our 4-day Great Ocean Walk Wild Side Tour. Otherwise, keep reading below to find out all the features of this 3-day Great Ocean Walk tour. And please contact us if you have any questions.
