    Behind the lavish palaces of Jaipur lie the smaller yet royal houses of the Mina and Kachhawaha trader families, who traded in bangles, leather items, brass metal items, textiles, glazed pottery and spices. On this tour, learn about their lives their cultural beliefs, ancient Jain and Shiva temples such as the Sanghi Jhunjuma temple, and about the incredible system of step-wells that used to be the source of water in medieval times.


    Taste some of the traditional sweets and home-made spicy fritters and tea with the family.


    Bangles play a major role in the lives of the women and the erstwhile traders of Amer. After you visit the family, head over to see how bangles are made in a kiln, and try your hands at molding them.



    Take back a set of colorful and traditional bangles of your choice, which you can use yourself or gift to a loved one back home.
