This tour of Saint John, New Brunswick is the perfect way to view the city’s natural wonders, historical and cultural attractions in just a few hours. On this tour, you will visit Canada’s oldest continuously operated farmers market, catch amazing views of the Bay of Fundy (featuring the world’s highest tides!) from the SKYWALK, look out over the city of Saint John from the Carleton Martello Tower viewpoint and learn about the city’s history at Place Fort LaTour.
Your tour begins with pick up directly from your hotel in downtown Saint John before heading to your first stop at the Saint John City Market.
At the City Market, you will be able to grab a tasty snack at one of the shops or cafes or find unique souvenirs for friends and family. This market is the oldest continuously operated farmers market in Canada – they must be doing something right!
Next, your guide will take you on a scenic drive through Rockwood Park on the way to your next stop at the SKYWALK for a look at the Reversing Falls Rapids.
At the SKYWALK you’ll step out onto the observation deck for an impressive view of uptown Saint John and the famous Reversing Falls Rapids. This natural phenomenon is truly incredible to witness.
Your next stop will be to Carleton Martello Tower, where you can look out over the city of Saint John, its harbour and skyline from the viewpoint.
Your final stop will be at Place Fort LaTour which commemorates almost 6000 years of ceremonial, trade and industrial activity and was the site of a memorable battle in early Acadian times.
At the end of your tour, your guide will bring you back to your hotel in downtown Saint John.
