    Day 1Landscapes of Valdichiana

    Few landscapes are more familiar than the stunning scenery of the Tuscan countryside. Due to its location, the Valdichiana is the ideal place for a unique journey through Tuscany renowned gems and treasured art, among castles, abbeys, vineyards and wine cellars, surrounded by a sea of rolling hills lined with green cypress trees that seem to guard such extraordinary beauty

    Day 2Under the Tuscan Sun

    Discover the flavours of the Tuscan traditional dishes by visiting a farmer who breeds the Chianina calves. Here you will learn about the history of this breed, its deep connection with the territory and finalize the tour with a tasting lunch including the famous Florentine T-bone steak. Spend the afternoon in Cortona, the setting of the book and movie “Under the Tuscan Sun”, and stroll through the town square and alleys preserving their intact artistic heritage 

    Day 3Amazing Val d’Orcia

    Step back in time and visit the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, built in Romanesque style in a picture-perfect setting, legend has it that its first stone was laid on the order of Charles Magne. You are close to Montalcino, the village of the Brunello, and the hilltop village of Pienza, rebuilt according to the Renaissance ideals of the time, which has gained a reputation for producing top quality Pecorino cheese. You will find yourselves gazing at the stunning landscape of the Val d’Orcia, driving past its most spectacular views on your way to Montepulciano. The village features a maze of underground wine cellars carved into the rock, guarding the precious oak barrels where the Vino Nobile “rests” 

    Day 4Exploring Siena

    The imposing buildings, the fine decorations and the wealth of materials leave the visitors of Siena outright speechless, gazing in wonder at its beauty, of which its inhabitants are deservedly proud. After breathing in the wonderful atmosphere of this old town during a private guided tour, return to your accommodation to learn how to cook in true Italian style and have fun doing it: your unmissable chance to enjoy a hands-on Italian cooking class! 

    Day 5A kaleidoscope of beauty

    Make the most of the amenities of your accommodation by spending a day of leisure or wander through the stunning landscape of rolling hills planted with a sea of vineyards and olive groves, tiny villages, charming parish churches and stone farmhouses. Alternatively, reach Florence for a day tour of the city known as the cradle of the Renaissance. With its museums, palaces and churches Florence is home to some of Italy’s most precious artistic gems; explore the top tourist attractions or head off the beaten path and visit Florence’s “less popular sights”

    Day 6 Beyond Tuscany

    Explore the green heart of Italy on this day tour to Umbria. Your driver will take you to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis and St. Clare, where the guide shows you the Basilica del Santo, preserving the exquisite Giotto’s frescoes. Strolling through the streets you cannot fail to notice how the town has managed to retain its original medieval character: take in the beautiful views, especially from the square in front of the Church of St. Clare with the very same cross that is said to have spoken to St. Francis. On the way back do not miss the chance to stop at Cittá della Pieve and explore the village along the panoramic or the alleyway route
