We are Christopher & Laurent and are registered tour guides living in Marseille. We’ve been working as guides in Provence for the last six years and visiting the region for well over twenty, so we know a lot about what’s best to see and visit as well as all the regions highlights. We enjoy travelling & especially meeting people from different corners of the world & being able to show them the visible & less obvious secrets of this incredibly beautiful part of France. The tours we’ve created are with our passion for France – we look forward to welcoming you when you next plan your visit. All our excursions are at a gentle pace with the emphasis on enjoying a special moment together because we hope you’ll want to return to us again sometime in the future.

  • Châteauneuf du Pape

If you’re a lover of fine wines & want to experience a special day visiting some of the best vineyards of Châteauneuf du Pape, including Château Fortia who’s history dates back to the 17th century and in the 19th century under the ownership of Baron Le Roy, created France’s first AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) it’s the world standard for wine. Time to stop for lunch in the adorable French bistro in the nearby village of Caderousse. Châteauneuf du Pape is the heart of a region full of history, culture and joie de vivre.  At the summit stands the ruined château built by the popes in 14th century as a summer residence to escape the city heat of Avignon. The popes planted the town’s first vineyards. During the afternoon a visit to two very different vineyards – first a winemaker with a 8ha vineyard based exclusively on the appellation & second a family estate owned by two generations of wine producers including Côte du Rhone. An introduction to the iconic Châteauneuf du Pape wines that produce wine where tradition is enhanced by modernism & excellence, and tasting of course. This is an exceptional day out with quite a few surprises along the way. On the way back (time permitting) a stop-off to visit a local artisan chocolate maker.
