    • 9 Days
    • Brazil

With the perfect blend of adventure and culture, Brazil welcomes you on this trip with a start in Rio de Janeiro. We will visit the world-famous landmarks as Pão de Açúcar and Corcovado peaks, which are must-see attractions for any visit to Rio. And as we know, the Carnival scene is such a famous representation of Rio’s culture in the city itself, so we will also visit the communities that reflect the spirit, whether the Carnival is happening at that moment or not!

Brazil is home to one of the most iconic natural phenomena in the Americas, and indeed the world: Iguaçu Falls. This monstrous spectacle is the most extensive waterfall system in the world. The Iguaçu Falls shares borders with Argentina, and we’ll get the pleasure of experiencing them from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides.

Then, we will get to know the mixture of Portuguese, African and indigenous influence that we find in Salvador de Bahia, that translates into a unique cultural fusion experienced through the gastronomy, festivals, religions and lifestyle of the town of Salvador. The historical center, Pelourinho, declared Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, is an area full of life that allows us to lose ourselves in its cobbled streets walking among colonial houses while we feel the vibrant energy of the city.

    Where you will visit

    Rio de Janeiro

The inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro call it the “Marvelous City.” Located on the Bay of Guanabara, Rio has a mountainous landscape that contrasts with an intensely blue sea. Here the skyscrapers, colonial buildings and narrow streets meld in perfect harmony.
Although the city is a reflection of the social inequalities of the country, Rio de Janeiro has great style and is internationally renowned for its Christ Corcovado, Pão de Açúcar, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Carnivals and the warm and lively inhabitants of the city, the cariocas.

    Foz do Iguaçu

Iguaçu River wriggles in a western direction for 600 km, picking up along its way the waters of dozens of tributaries. The river widens and flows majestically through forests before descending into the various levels of the famous Iguaçu waterfalls. They consist of 275 waterfalls that occupy an area more than 3 km wide and 80 m tall. They are wider than Victoria Falls, taller than Niagara Falls and more beautiful than both. There are neither words nor photographs that can properly describe them, you simply have to see and hear them for yourself.

    Salvador

The mixture of Portuguese, African and indigenous influences that we find in Salvador de Bahia translates into a unique culture where the traveler can experience this fusion in the gastronomy, festivals, religions and lifestyle of the people of Salvador. Furthermore, history left behind a priceless legacy of buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries in the Pelourinho, the historic city center, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This lively zone permits travelers to lose themselves among the cobbled alleyways and colonial buildings while experiencing the vibrant energy of the city.
