A comprehensive Sofia Walking Tour for every taste

“Grows, but never ages” is the motto of Sofia – one of Europe’s oldest cities and capital of Bulgaria. That is not surprising, given its ancient history dating back some seven millennia.

Our captivating and informative private walking tour through the heart of Sofia follows its turbulent and colorful history. We go all the way back to its Roman origin and discuss our Ottoman heritage. Moreover, we focus extensively on rather recent events and how they have shaped Sofia’s modern outlook. Along the way we encounter some of the city’s imposing buildings and monuments and learn more about their place in Bulgarian history.

This tour is ideal to develop a general feel of the city and get to know it better. However, if you are a history buff and are interested in a more in-depth look at Sofia’s origins, you might want to check out our Sofia’s Roman Past tour.
