For beer enthusiasts, Seattle Brewery Walking Tours is a brewery tour that explores the genuine Seattle micro-brewery community. Unlike large bus tours or asking your Uber driver where to get a good beer, we offer a relaxing guided tour and beer tasting that connects with the local breweries and the neighborhood. As a result, you will learn about the history and uniqueness of Seattle micro-breweries, experience hand tailored tastings and learn about each brewery’s distinctive beer styles, and enjoy a nice walk with some amazing people.
At only a quarter mile, this is one of our shortest tours, but you will not find more great beer in a three block area of any city in the country. Our tour starts and ends just a few short blocks from Old Ballard’s Historic District. In our guided beer tasting we will learn what to look for when you are tasting a beer and what makes each style unique. We’ll sample 12 different beers that cover traditional, old-world brewing styles and new, experimental beers that you will find only in these breweries. We will learn why the close proximity of Northwest barley fields, the most productive hops growing region in the world and visionary brewing pioneers have made Seattle the center of the craft brewing renaissance.

Reuben’s Brews
Our tour begins at Reuben’s Brews, one of the neighborhood’s most popular spots. This brewery is truly a family affair. In fact, young Reuben was only a month old when his Dad and Mom opened the brewery that boasts his name. Let’s drop in and enjoy Reuben’s father’s handiwork.
Peddler Brewing Company
Our next stop is at Peddler Brewing Company. As you may guess from the name this brewery is geared toward bicycle riders (pun intended) as well as families and dogs. But everyone enjoys their beers, including those on foot like us. Inside there is the wall of bicycle parts. Outside is a large, year-round beer garden and plenty of bicycle racks. Find a bench and enjoy a beer.
Lagunitas Taproom and Beer Sanctuary
We end our tour just a few short blocks from Ballard’s Historic district at Lagunitas Taproom and Beer Sanctuary. One of Ballard’s newest breweries is actually one of California’s oldest. The Ballard brewery features old favorites and beers only brewed here in Washington. Even if you think you are familiar with Lagunitas there will be something here you have never tried before. We will also get a close up look at the brewing process.
