    Day 1Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park

    The experience begins today as you leave Kampala and head southwest towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make a stopover at the equator for a photo opportunity on the line dividing the south and north hemispheres. As you enter Queen Elizabeth National Park, your driver guide will take you for a late afternoon en route game drive to spot different wildlife like the Elephant, Lions, Leopard, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Oribi, monkeys, as well as a variety of Savannah and woodland birds.

    After the game drive, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at your accommodations.

    Day 2Game Drive + Kazinga Cruise

    Meet the day before sunrise with hot coffee and tea as you head out on an early morning game drive.  The game drive offers the chance to see lions at hunt, hyenas, Cape buffalo, Ugandan Kob, warthog, elephant, leopard, and waterbuck.  Return to your accommodation for a relaxing lunch.  

    In the afternoon, explore the Kazinga Channel by boat for an opportunity to see a stunning variety of wildlife at the water. The 32 kilometres stretch that joins Lake Edward to Lake George is believed to hold the largest concentration of hippos in the entire world. Elephants, solitary buffaloes and waterbucks are among the animals normally sighted at the banks. On a lucky day lions and other predators are also sighted in the hideouts waiting to catch their prey as it goes for a drink at the channel. The channel is also rich in bird life, including both indigenous and migratory species.

    Day 3Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

    After breakfast, we shall leave Queen Elizabeth National Park driving further south and ascending through steep hills of Kigezi region, fondly referred to as the little Switzerland of Africa. We shall stop in Kabale for lunch and after proceed for your accommodations.

    Day 4Gorilla Trekking

    After breakfast we will meet the park rangers who will be our guides for the day, and then we will start the trek in search of the exquisite mountain gorillas of Uganda.  Trekking can last between thirty minutes and eight hours, but once you discover the gorillas, you will be able to spend one unforgettable hour with them.  Looking into the deep animated brown eyes of the gorillas is sure to be the most exciting wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer.  Gorilla trekking begins where the gorillas were last seen the previous day.  Enjoy a picnic lunch in the midst of the Impenetrable Forest before returning to your accommodations.  Back at the resort, relax by watching the magical motions of traditional Ugandan dances, or enjoy a cocktail by the campfire as you listen to the sounds of Bwindi.

    Day 5Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Lake Mburo National Park

    Depart after breakfast for Lake Mburo National Park. We shall have another opportunity to take in the breath-taking scenery of the Kigezi terraced hills this time descending. We shall make a brief stop in Mbarara city for a hot lunch before continuing to the park.  A game drive at sunset introduces you to the park’s wildlife, including zebra, Impala, Topi, and Cape Buffalo.

    Day 6Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala

    We shall take a morning game drive for a chance to see the hyenas coming back to their dens, hippos walking back to the water and the recently reintroduced Rothschild giraffes roaming the park. Horseback safaris and quad bike riding can also be arranged on ground (at an added cost). After breakfast, depart for Kampala where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
