Oakland sightseeing with a LOT more flavor… Unleash your inner foodie during Local Food Adventures’ Rockridge Food Tour! This walking tour explores the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland; it is a heritage tour and food tour wrapped into one tasty (and interesting) package. This is our original Oakland food tour and we’re understandably proud of it! During this three-hour guided walking tour, you will take a walk through the neighborhood, discovering the area’s rich history and exploring its fast-growing dining culture – all while enjoying some seriously delicious flavors along the way! If you’re looking for a taste of Oakland and you’re coming from SF, you may be even more interested in our Oakland Food Tour from SF!

Our Rockridge Food Tour is just as appealing to visitors as it is to locals; it’s a rare opportunity to learn some little-known facts about the area that may even surprise those who call Oakland (and even Rockridge) home. In addition, you will enjoy an opportunity to skip the typical Bay Area tourist traps and dive deep into the food culture, history, architecture, and current happenings of this European-inspired oasis.
