What Makes Our Guided Tours Special? It’s our guides. Thanks to their experience and know-how you save time and see more. Your passionate, friendly guide will entertain you with engaging stories that accent your visit, capture your imagination, and bring it all to life. And to make sure you don’t miss any of it, we take the extra step to provide you with headset radios complete with earbuds and personal volume control. Instead of huddling around your guide struggling to hear, you’ll be immersed in the experience and free to soak in the local flavor, take photos and enjoy the experience. That’s what makes our New York City small group and private guided tours so special, fun, and memorable for all ages and interest levels.
Immerse yourself in the history of the World Trade Center starting from the 1960s up to the present on a guided walking tour with a local, living in the city during the 9/11 attacks. Visit the memorials which commemorate the global tragedy of 9/11 and get a sense of the terrible event that took place here back in 2001. Not only will you be part of a small group, but your guide will also speak live into your personal radio headset, so you don’t miss key details.

What You’ll Do
Sick of impersonal tours where you struggle to hear the guide? Our personal headset radios are your solution: they allow you to take in every live detail from the guide, even in noisy areas. We start the tour at the iconic St Paul’s Chapel which miraculously survived the tragedy of 2001. You will then visit a range of buildings that have risen from the ashes of “Ground Zero”, including Brookfield Place and the Oculus, the transportation hub that is helping to drive the economic resurgence of Lower Manhattan. Take a break and enjoy complimentary snacks and hot drinks. Your guide will then continue to the Fireman’s Memorial which remembers the sacrifice of the FDNY (Fire Department of The City of New York). You’ll then visit the 9/11 Memorial Plaza where your guide will explain the details and symbolism used by the artists in creating the design.
Learn not only about the past of this famous site but also its future and how the city is reconstructing. Discover the ideas behind the symbolic design of these new buildings and how they intend to shape the future of the area. Your local guide will tell you about the heroes and victims of 9/11 and share stories from that tragic day. We will end the tour at the 9/11 Memorial Museum, which guests can visit after the tour, a visit lasts between 1.5- 2 hours. Tickets are not included in the tour but there is an option to add the ticket to your order when booking the tour.
Your guides will point out sites that are easily missable for tourists, and make sure you catch all the hidden memorials and sites of interest.
