What You’ll Do
What better way to get to know a city than on foot? Our personal headset radios set our tour apart, instead of clustering around a guide to hear everything, the headsets give you the freedom to take photos and explore while listening to the live commentary. Start this AM walking tour at City Hall, a National Historic Landmark, where you learn about its history and walk through the luscious park. Then walk over the Brooklyn Bridge enjoying the incredible views of both the city and the river. Your knowledgeable local guide will fill you in on the importance of the bridge to the city, as well as the construction and the politics of getting it built.
Afterward, you’ll have the chance to fuel up on pizza and cannoli from Julianna’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, a neighborhood staple with an intriguing story of its own. Return to Manhattan by ferry, enjoying views of the Bridge from below and some great photo opportunities. You’ll then be able to get a feeling for the fast pace of Manhattan’s Financial District as you walk down Wall Street where you’ll see sites like The New York Stock Exchange, the Fearless Girl Statue, Federal Hall and Trinity Church.
Don’t be afraid to ask our guides for further recommendations for your trip, their local knowledge can provide you with some great insider tips!
