The walking tour covers approximately 4 miles, so guests should be able to stand or walk for long periods at a time. This tour is wheelchair & stroller accessible.
Explore the area around Wall Street on this tour of NYC’s financial district, as your local guide will take you around key sites like the Charging Bull statue, the Fearless Girl statue and the Canyon of Heroes. Our personal headset radios mean that instead of clustering around a guide to hear everything, you have the freedom to take photos and explore. Marvel at beautiful architecture at Trinity Church, a building brimming with interesting stories and closely intertwined in the area’s history. Make the most of a New York Stock exchange external tour and see the Federal Hall, the location where George Washington took the oath of office to become the first president of the U.S. Pass through an important protest center Zuccotti Park, which was the location of the 2011 Occupy Wall Street movement.
Enjoy complimentary hot & cold drinks and snacks, then visit the World Trade Center and learn about its history, from the construction of the complex in the 1960s, through the tragic events of September 11th and the aftermath, and finally into the current stages of reconstruction. Visit the memorials which commemorate the tragic events of 9/11 and the buildings which celebrate the regeneration of this area.
Once the tour is over, you can continue discovering more about the history by visiting the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Guests will have to purchase these tickets independently as they are not offered with this tour. Don’t forget to ask your friendly guides for recommendations about any further activities!
