With more than 20 years guiding throughout the North of Portugal, Azores and Galicia, we acquired a deep knowledge and strong bonds with these destinations, allowings us to hand pick to all our guests the best itinerary possible.
To us, travel means genuinely getting under the skin of a country and its culture. It’s tasting the local food, meeting the local people, experiencing a place like a local and living meaningful moments.
Our desire was create and share a responsible adventure travel alternative to the Northern Portugal, Galicia and the Azores, three beautiful destinations that are part of our life!

Experience true Peneda Gerês hiking on this partially inn to inn walking holiday along the GR50 trail from Castro Laboreiro Plateau to Gerês Peaks. Cross mountains and valleys, enjoying the mountain local life and rural traditions while you pass through some of the most emblematic villages like Castro Laboreiro, Peneda, Germil, Pitões das Júnias, Tourém or Soajo.

Overnight Castro Laboreiro
A diverse stage that connects Laboreiro and Peneda Valleys. Forest, wild streams, centenary bridges and at the end Peneda Santuary. A great walk to start this holiday.
Overnight Peneda
The walk along Peneda River is quite special. Going up slowly passing through several settlements like Tibo until the top, were an amazing view compensates the climb effort. The descent to Adrão is made by old granite footpaths. Transfer to accommodation.
Overnight Soajo or Entre Ambos os Rios
Morning transfer to Ermida (30min), at Serra Amarela. The landscape starts to change. As we approach Germil the incredible wolf trap won’t pass unnoticed. Germil is one of our team favorite villages. From here the mountain terraces craved in the mountains surround the small granite villages. Transfer to accommodation.
Overnight Campo do Gerês
Chill out morning at Campo do Gerês. Our guide will meet you just before lunch for a private tour. After a nice picnic, a short walk to visit one of the emblematic waterfalls. Fafião and Cabril are also mandatory stopping points before reaching Outeiro.
Overnight Outeiro
This stage is between Outeiro and Pitões das Júnias is along granite paths and trails, passing through the Beredo valley and its amazing oak forest, having as a Gerês mountains as background.
Overnight Pitões das Júnias
The last stage will take you to the remote village of Tourém, crossing the Spanish border for a few kms. The landscape change is amazing and the perfect closure for this hiking holiday at Peneda -Gerês National Park.
