    Have a blast gliding through seven beautiful miles of Golden Gate Park’s landscaped trails and roads. Explore Golden Gate Park’s east end, including the National Aids Memorial, Music Concourse, Pioneer Grove, and Stow Lake.

    Where does this tour start?

    Golden Gate Park Location: 82 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive San Francisco, CA 94118 Look for blue and yellow tent in paved area directly behind the large band stage in Music Concourse. Near the Japanese Tea Garden, California Academy of Science and deYoung Museum.

    When, Where and Who Can Ride

    September  through May

    10:00 am and 2:00 pm Saturday and Sunday

    Note: Private Group Segway Tours for 2 to 8 guests with your own guide available Thursday through Sunday

    June through August

    10:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm, 4pm Daily

    Closed on December 25, January 1st and during major public events in the Park.

    All tours start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. For the safety and complete training of our guest late arrivals will not be allowed to join a tour that has already started training. Please be on time.

    How long is this Segway tour?

    Activity is 2.5 hours including training.

    Training is 30 to 35 minutes, During the busy summer season training time may be slightly longer.

    Will you teach me how to ride a Segway?

    After 30-35 minutes of fun training on how to safely operate the Segway, you’ll explore the San Francisco waterfront with a fully narrated tour. Tours are limited to ten riders per guide.

    Who can go? (Rider Requirements)

    Ages 12 and up over 100 lbs (45kg) and under 250 lbs.(113 kg) are welcome. No weight exceptions.

    No pregnant guests.

    Not recommended for some guests over age 70 or with mobility, motor control or recent surgeries.

    Under 18 with parents or guardian.

    Face Masks and Covid Safety

    Face Masks or Face Coverings are required for both guests and the tour guide during check in and during the entire tour. Face coverings are required indoors and outdoors in San Francisco.
