    • 3 Hours Approx

    • Genoa, Italy

The old port, discover when and how everything began, experience years of history under the pavement beaten by today’s tourists.

The new port, still today the engine of the local economy, see it live, up close and in an easy way. The ships, the operations on the piers, the men who work there.

The lighthouse: our witness, our oldest symbol, watching and warning of the presence of the port since the 12th century, is one of the tallest and oldest still in use. Reach it by a walking route dense in history, following the traces of the 17th century walls and enter the Savoy’s fortress at its base.

Test yourself with the 172 steps to reach the terrace of the lighthouse, for a breathtaking view over the city and the entire gulf.
