Lisbon Chill Out Free Walking Tour is a great way to get to know Lisbon. Whether staying for a month or for a day, our Free Walking Tour will always fit in your schedule. Our guides love Lisbon and they enrich each and every tour with their unique knowledge of the town and its history.
This is the Lisbon Chill-out tour as it was when it all started in 2007. A travelers’ hit ever since, it is a tour without a fixed itinerary, where the walkers and the guide work out a route right before the start.
We design this tour by including a more realistic side of Lisbon – not so touristic – let us choose for you and show you why we love our city. Lets step off Rua Augusta, walk through quiet side lanes, peek into small streets smelling like codfish, find out about local cafes and shops which locals visit, and enjoy the city through the eyes of a Lisbon resident.
At this point we require you to make a reservation. There are special conditions for bigger groups, If you are in a group of 5 or more people, please mention that in the booking form.
Praça Luís de Camões
(Luís de Camões Square).
The square is situated in the heart of the city and you should have no problem finding it. It is known as a common place for gatherings amongst locals and will be a perfect starting point for our adventures!

The Free Walking Tour shows you our personal perspective of the city. Each guide has his own unique route, but in general we all cover the areas of Bairro Alto, Chiado, Baixa, Alfama and Graça.
We are running our tours on a daily basis always following directions from the Government and Health authorities, and taking all the measures necessary to make everyone safe and protected.
We know that it is hard to think about resuming travels, but for those who are already here, can or want to travel to Lisbon, we are accepting reservations for free tours and private tours, under specific conditions. Due to the current situation we adopted some temporary measures in our tours, in order to run them in a safer way:
If for any reason you think that you won’t be able to attend the tour, please let us know in advance. Otherwise your guide might be at the meeting point waiting for you, unnecessarily.
If you cannot travel yet, check our online services or book your tour for later dates. If something changes you can always change or cancel your reservation.
Important note: if you are feeling sick, have suspect symptoms, if you are aware that you might have been in contact with sick people, please stay at home and look for medical attention, for everyone’s safety. If you are in Portugal call 808 24 24 24.
