Uffizi Gallery and Florence Walking Tour gives you the experience of a lifetime as you explore one of the world’s most important collections of Renaissance masterpieces. After, you will walk in the footsteps of those masters soaking up the rich cultural history told by your expert guide. The tour starts off with priority access into the crown jewel of Florence, the Uffizi. Your guide will take you on a journey recounting the stories behind world-renown paintings by Michelangelo, Botticelli, female artist Artemisia Gentileschi, and many more. After a generous two-and-a-half-hour break, you will rejoin your guide at the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) and witness the architectural marvel of Brunelleschi’s Dome. From there you are off to see the picturesque streets of the historic center ending at the Ponte Vecchio where golden dreams await.

Your professional tour guide will meet you at Uffizi Gallery in front of Ticket Office (Gate 1) to begin the tour at the appointed time.
The small group 90-minute guided tour offers an intimate viewing of carefully curated pieces selected to give you the best insight into one of the oldest museums in Europe. Constructed as offices of the magistrate for Cosimo I de Medici in 1581 and gifted to the city of Florence by the last Medici heir Anna Maria Louisa, the museum houses famous works such as Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Caravaggio’s Medusa, as well as other stunning masterpieces.
When the tour finishes, you are free to sit and relax rooftop terrace for a picturesque city view, continue exploring the museum at your leisure, or sample the local cuisine before the second half of the tour.
After the break, your guide will meet you in front of Lindt chocolate store in Piazza del Duomo at the Cathedral where you will learn about the incredible history of Florence while walking in the footsteps of the Medici and other historical greats.
The tour finishes at the Ponte Vecchio, the first bridge to cross the Arno and the pulse of Florence. Constructed as you see now, in 1345, you will uncover the mysteries of the Vasari Corridor that stretches across the bridge of gold along with other gems the city has to offer.
