You start your day with a walk along a long Buddhist Mani wall.
The path then takes you through a slow descent to Charang. Today you will enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas of your trekking: the view on the ice wall of the Nilgiri.
Charang (3500m) is a large village inhabited by the Loba people. The village lies on top of the large Charang Chu Gorge. Between the beautiful white-painted houses waving prayer flags. Trees, fields and houses are separated by low stone walls.
In the east of the village is a beautiful, large monastery near the gorge of the Kali Ghandaki River.
You will spend the night in a teahouse in Charang.
